I’m Kristian, and I’ve been a jeweller for more than 20 years.

My specialty is creating individually designed pieces for my clients. I do it all in my own private studio in Perth.

I did my apprenticeship in Australia more than 20 years ago, then headed to UK to work in London’s diamond district, Hatton Garden, where I made high-end pieces for London’s jewellery boutiques. I learnt from some pretty highly-skilled artisans over there, and eventually brought all that knowledge back home to Perth.

I started working for one of Perth’s leading jewellers and was there for over a decade as the senior jeweller and workshop manager.

Now I have my very own workshop, and get to create bespoke custom pieces for my clients.

Because I’ve been doing this for a long time, I’ve got pretty good connections in the stones and gem world. So whatever type of diamond or coloured gemstone you want for your jewellery, chances are, I’ll be able to find it for you.

APPROACH

I firmly believe fine jewellery doesn’t need to be complicated. No intimidating appointments. No fancy terms you don’t understand. And definitely no impersonal vibes.

We catch up for a coffee where you tell me what you’re after, in your own words. Don’t know the proper term for the type of diamond you want? That’s ok. You don’t need to. Your only job is to tell me how you want your piece to look. The rest - including knowing the diamond jargon - is my job.

Then I draw up some design options. We might catch up again (perhaps a beer this time) to make sure you’re happy with everything. Then I get stuck into making it for you in my private workshop.

Let’s keep it simple.

  • If you’re after a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, you’ve come to the right place. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients pop the question with a ring we’ve dreamt up together. I then create custom wedding bands for them to wear loudly and proudly for the rest of their lives together. This is the best part of my job, hands-down.

  • Got a particular piece in mind but can’t seem to find it anywhere? Then let’s make it. My specialty is creating custom jewellery for clients. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets or rings - you name it. Just because you can’t find it in a shop, doesn’t mean we can’t bring it to life.

  • Creating sentimental pieces is my favourite, like jewellery with birthstones, coloured gems, engraving or initial pendants. Whether it’s for you or a gift, jewellery that carries meaning is something really special.

  • Got some old family heirlooms that are just sitting in a cupboard collecting dust? Let’s make something with them. I work with clients to restore old pieces to bring them back to their shiny former lives, or remodel them entirely by melting down the metal and repurposing the stones. A necklace can become a ring, or a bracelet can become a pair of earrings.
